Normount® Energy-Dissipating, Closed-Cell Polyurethane Foam Substrate with a High-Performance Acrylic is a type of bonding tape that is designed for exterior mounting applications and severe exterior bonding applications. The tape consists of a layer of closed-cell polyurethane foam substrate that provides energy dissipation, and a layer of high-performance acrylic adhesive that provides excellent bonding strength.
Normount® tape is an excellent energy absorber, which makes it ideal for applications where shock absorption is required. The foam substrate helps to reduce the effects of impact and vibration, making it an ideal choice for outdoor applications where environmental factors can cause damage to the bond.
