NFK SMALL JOINT SEALANT

Sealing of small mitre joints in the manufacture of aluminium window joinery. Effective at eliminating corrosion of joints due to oxidation at clean and fresh edges. Suitable for both interior and exterior use.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Always ensure that the surfaces to be sealed are dry and free from oil, dirt, and grease. For impervious substrates, use the two-wipe cleaning process. Ensure that clothes are clean and changed frequently. Use a suitable cleaner.
APPLICATION
Transfer sealant to a clean application bottle or sealant gun. Apply a continuous bead of sealant to the joint surfaces. Work sealant into the joint to exclude air bubbles and ensure a full seal is obtained. Allow to dry for a minimum of 4 hours. Low temperatures and high humidity will lengthen drying time.
