Ready To Use Linseed Oil (Anti-Mould Formulation) is a cost-effective, ready-to-use timber treatment designed to protect and enhance outdoor wood surfaces. This unique linseed oil blend offers a natural alternative to conventional decking oils, providing resistance against mould, mildew, and water. It's ideal for window frames, decks, fences, retaining walls, and other exterior timber structures.
Size: 1 Litre
Coverage: Softwoods: 6–8 m² per litre; Hardwoods: 8–10 m² per litre (dependent on porosity and application technique).
For New Timber:
Clean the surface with Timber Cleaner. Remove heavy deposits of wax and grease. Once dry, apply Ready To Use Linseed Oil. Allow approximately 24 hours between coats, depending on weather conditions.
Wipe off excess oil with a clean, lint-free cloth to prevent a sticky finish.
For Previously Coated or Weathered Timber:
Sand the surface to remove previous coatings. Clean and proceed with the application as for new timber.
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection during use. Timber exposed to the elements may have a higher absorption rate.
Soak used rags in water immediately after use to prevent spontaneous combustion. Dispose of rags by controlled incineration or at an approved landfill.
